Dust and other atmospheric pollution can also be a problem so it is advisable to put some form of barrier or moisturizing cream on (even if it isn't sunny), or a hypoallergenic moisturizer will do if you can't find a specific sensitive skin care product. Use soap-free and alcohol free cleansers and cleanse your face whenever you return from spending time out doors but do not scrub or exfoliate too hard as it can cause reddishness and even inflammation.
If you are someone who wears makeup, this can also cause skin sensitivity if worn for long periods so keep it to a minimum and remove with products that will not cause skin issues. Although it can be frustrating having sensitive skin, it is not the end of the world and with a little forethought it can be something that it is possible to live with day to day without too much inconvenience.
